Fantastic days in Gravina!!

We set off for the airport. We were a bit afraid of the ashes but everything was ok. First stop, Madrid. Italy as waiting for us!!

Once in Gravina, the families where waiting for us.

On May 5th both students and teachers went to school. The headmaster Mr Giovanni Dibenedetto was waiting for us. We had a very warm welcome and the students had the opportunity to attend classes, an unforgettable experience for them. We also shared some wonderful welcome representations, and Power Points presentations done by the students participating in the Comenius activities. Unbelievable work!!

We were then taken to the primary school S. Giovanni Bosco where we could attend a short festival which included songs and typical dances, all performed by the youngest students. Amazing!!

In the afternoon, work session at school, where we shared other schools’ work, experiences, plans and it was also an opportunity to evaluate the project all together.

On 6th May, we arrive early at school. We attended to a new representation, done by the students involved in the project: theatre, Power Points, drawings, masks … amazing once more!!

Once the work at school was finished, we had the pleasure to meet a member of the Local Municipality, who warmly welcomed us and after a nice speech, gifted us with a “Colacola”, one of the symbols of the city.
