A world full of sounds.....and silence

Class 1°F -
with the Music teacher-Gelly De Leonardis and the English teacher: Ottavio Cicala

school year 2009-2010

We would like to show you, among the works done this year, the posters realized for the Comenius project with our music teacher.

The posters have been done following this path:

Our music teacher told us to pay attention to the sounds of the landscape around us coming to school, or when we stay at home and so on. So we understood that some sounds to us are stronger and more overbearing, others are sweet and caressing. So we listed and drew our observations:

We put the unpleasant sounds such as the traffic, the cars horns and the unnatural noises on the left; the pleasant ones like the wind rustle, the birds chirping, the water flowing on the right. Moreover we observed that for most of us silence is: the desert, the sacred places and the natural habitat.
For each sound or environment identified we made, working together, some little drowings which we filled the posters with.
