2E immersed in nature

Last January 29 our class , 2 E of Montemurro school, led by ms Berloco our teacher of Italian literature, and a guide ,went out for a trip concerning the Comenius project “ Inside landscape , landscape inside “. We went to “La Gravina Bridge “ not very far from our school. Once on the place , we started to observe the landscape around us, recording sounds, taking photos and taking notes. The fist thing we could see was the bridge , the ancient bridge built by the Romans a lot of centuries ago. We were really curious , so we did a lot of questions to our guide Mr Giglio , whose presence was fundamental for us. Then we went on our run watching and observing flora and wildlife of our landscape on the Murge . Little by little we met different typologies, our guide carefully described them. Halfway , tired and hungry we decided to stop for a little break ; after eating, we started moving again amongst water, rocks and bridges which made the landscape charming. Suddenly, we noticed a rocky cavity into which a stream had dug its bed. We were really enchanted from the sound of water which flew among the rocks , the colors of plants which seemed to be sleeping for the icy temperature, the bareness of the rocky faces rising towards the blue sky, the smell of oregano and thymus which filled air. We would have stopped time but we left that everything left a mark through our pencils which gave shape to those wonders. Finally we came back doing the same way again. Back to school, just to finish our activity we took some pictures , useful material for our Comenius friends.
See you soon
